I Was The Car Crash

I was stuck,

In a slow motion car crash,

With the screech of the tires

And the glass of the windows,

Piercing into every inch,

Of my delicate skin.

Just when I thought,

It couldn’t get any worse,

I was transported out of the car,

While You were still stuck,

In the slowest of motion,

Crashing to the wall.

All air was stolen,

From the space in my lungs.

As the steeling wheel lodged,

Into your slowing heart and,

I grabbed my chest,

When I felt mine stop, too.
